Lindsey Lloyd has been apart of the Miss America system for over 4 years. Her journey started as Miss Sandy 2012 Janie Despain’s 1st attendant and has since earned the titles of Miss Sandy, Miss Pioneer Valley, and finally Miss Eastern Utah 2016. Lindsey is a firm believer in the program and loves to share her experiences to whoever will listen.
Outside of pageantry, Lindsey has over 13 years of formal violin training, earning many awards on a local and state level. She also has formal acting, dancing, and singing training leading her to be apart of Productions Company. Lindsey has a love for the stage lights and can’t get enough.
Scholastically, Lindsey has acquired a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science and has a minor in Nutrition. Her goal is to start graduate school in the Fall of 2017 and is excited to see where her scholastic life takes her. Her ultimate goal for a career is a Registered Dietitian working with cancer rehabilitation.
Lindsey has a heart of service and is constantly striving to do more. She’s spent thousands of hours in a melanoma research lab to help search for a cure and has spent even more hours teaching people about the importance of taking care of their skin. She has partnered with the American Cancer Society: Cancer Action Network and is constantly looking for more people to teach about skin cancer. Lindsey has also collected over 8,000 lbs of shoes for Burkina Faso and is always willing to lend a helping hand when she sees someone in need.
Lindsey views her title and the possibility of holding the title of Miss Utah as a gateway to be a voice for a disease that can be prevented and looks forward to competing for the opportunity to be that voice on a state and national level at Miss Utah on June 12th
